About BloodSight

BloodSight helps people make sense of their own lab results — by organizing every report in one place and explaining, in plain language, what each value actually measures.

What BloodSight is

BloodSight is two things. It is a private dashboard where you upload lab reports from any provider, organize them by category, and track how each value changes over time. And it is a free reference library — hundreds of pages explaining individual biomarkers and the panels they belong to, written for people reading their own results rather than for clinicians. The reference library is free to read; the dashboard is available on an optional paid subscription.

Why we built it

Lab results are scattered across portals, PDFs, and printouts, and they usually arrive as a number next to a "normal" or "abnormal" flag with no context. That leaves most people with two unanswered questions: what does this value mean, and is it changing? BloodSight was built to answer both — to keep your history in one place and to explain each marker clearly enough that you can have a better-informed conversation with your doctor.

What we do — and what we don't

BloodSight organizes and explains. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional medical evaluation. Using the Service does not create a doctor-patient relationship. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health decision — see our full medical disclaimer below.

How our content is made

Every reference page is built on primary medical authorities — the National Institutes of Health and its institutes, MedlinePlus, the World Health Organization, and recognized specialty societies — and each page lists the sources it draws on. We describe and attribute; we never prescribe. Our full standards for sourcing, accuracy, review, and corrections are documented in our Editorial Policy.
